Dental Implants

Dr. Eray Eraslan @ ANTALYA / TURKIYE

Dental implants are a modern and effective solution to replace missing teeth and provide a natural smile. This treatment method is based on the principle of placing titanium implants into the jawbone and mounting prosthetic teeth on it. In our clinic, we offer natural and permanent smiles to our patients with an experienced team and state-of-the-art equipment.

Types of Dental Implants

  • Single Tooth Implants: Single tooth implants are used to replace a single missing tooth. In this method, a single implant is placed in the jawbone and a single prosthetic tooth is mounted on top of it. Single dental implants are an ideal option for replacing a missing tooth without damaging neighboring teeth.
  • Multiple Tooth Implants: Multiple dental implants are used to replace multiple missing teeth. In this method, one or more implants are placed in the jawbone and a bridge or prosthetic teeth are mounted on top. Multiple dental implants are used in cases where missing teeth are side by side or together.
  • Whole Tooth Implants: All dental implants are used when all upper or lower teeth are missing. In this method, one or more implants are placed in the jawbone and a fixed prosthetic denture is mounted on top of it. All-on-4 and All-on-6 dental implants offer a robust, functional and aesthetic solution in cases of complete tooth loss.

All-on-4 and All-on-6 Dental Implants

  • All-on-4: The All-on-4 implant system is a treatment method in which four implants are used in each jaw. In this system, two implants are placed in the front and two in the back. This method offers a reliable solution even in cases where the jawbone is less dense.
  • All-on-6: The All-on-6 implant system is a treatment method that uses six implants in each jaw. The higher the number of implants, the greater the stability and strength. This method is preferred in cases where the jawbone is denser and more support is required.

Dental Implant Application Process

  • Examination and Planning: The first step is for the dentist to assess the patient’s condition and determine the appropriate implant options. At this stage, the jawbone structure, gum condition and general oral health are evaluated.
  • Implant Placement: Titanium implants are surgically placed into the jawbone. The implants integrate with the jawbone, creating a solid and durable foundation.
  • Healing Process: A healing process is needed for the implants to integrate with the jawbone. This process usually takes several months and ensures that the implants are firmly attached to the bone.
  • Prosthesis Application: Once the implants have healed, prosthetic teeth are attached to the implants and aesthetically matched to create a natural smile.
  • Follow-up and Maintenance: The dentist regularly checks the fit and function of the implants and dentures. In addition, appropriate care and hygiene routines are recommended to the patient.
